Situated in
Kingswinford, part of Dudley Metropolitan Borough,
The Crestwood School caters for secondary pupils between
the ages of eleven and sixteen. The main building is
situated on a campus that comprises main school
buildings surrounded by excellent sports facilities
including a large multi-purpose gym, playing fields,
tennis courts and a swimming pool. The student body is
made up of boys and girls from several local primary
schools as well as a number of pupils who travel from further afield.
The main curriculum areas are
divided in to subject groups comprising of English, Mathematics, Science,
Humanities, Modern Foreign Languages, Creative Arts, PE
and Technology. ICT facilities are available throughout
Crestwood and is used effectively to enhance pupils'
learning in all the subjects as well as being taught as
a discrete subject in its own right in both key stages.
There is a thriving range of
extra curricular activities and pupils take the
opportunity to play sport as well as engaging
themselves in dance, drama or one of the residentials in
the UK or abroad.
